Can I link a promotion code to an affiliate?

Yes! It's easy to do: Simply create a new discount code in the Shopware administration area and then click on "Assign promotion" for the respective affiliate in the affiliate overview. As soon as a purchase is made using the promotion code, the order will be commissioned as usual! This feature is ideal for influencers and bloggers, for example.

How can I make a withdrawal?

When an affiliate has requested a payout in their affiliate area, you will see a new open transaction in the transaction list that you can manage the status of. A payout can be requested by an affiliate if their balance exceeds the minimum payout amount - by default, any balance can be paid out. All affiliate transactions whose status is Completed and - if it is a commission - whose number of days has exceeded the configuration value are counted towards the credit. Cancelled and aborted affiliate transactions are of course not credited to the balance.

All affiliate transactions with the status Completed and - in the case of a provision - whose number of days has exceeded the configuration value are credited to the balance. Cancelled and terminated affiliate transactions are of course not credited to the balance.

Payment in the form of a promotion code is also optional or possible as an alternative.

What happens when an order is cancelled?

If synchronization has been enabled in the configuration, the system automatically detects Cancelled orders and also cancels the affiliate transaction. In this case, the provision is displayed as Cancelled in the transaction list and cannot be paid out to the affiliate.

Where can I edit the texts/snippets being displayed?

You can filter for the author "codegiganten GmbH" in the administration area under Settings > Snippets in the base file (BASE xx-XX) on the right sidebar. All text snippets with a name beginning with "cogi-affiliate." apply to this plugin. By selecting the language with the help of the respective base file, multiple languages have of course been taken into account.

How can I calculate commissions based on the net value instead of the gross value?

For this purpose, there is the configuration "Calculate provisions on the basis of net prices".

Alternatively, you can also make this adjustment yourself with a simple calculation, provided that the tax rate is always 19 %: If you want to give a 10 % commission, for example, this 10 % is based on the gross value by default. If 19 % tax is charged, the calculation is as follows:

$$10 / 1,19 ≈ 8.4$$

So if you charge only 8.4 % provision instead of 10 %, the net value is automatically taken into account.
