Show affiliate partner program area in this sales channel
In the default settings you can determine whether your affiliate partners area should or should not be displayed in the respective sales channel. If this option is activated, the navigation point "Affiliate program" will be displayed in the customer area of your online store.
Allow applications from new affiliate partners
Use this option to determine whether new affiliate applications should be permitted or not. If this option is deactivated, only logged-in affiliates can see the menu item "Affiliate program". Affiliates can still be added manually by a shop administrator.
Allowed customer groups for applications
If the application of new affiliate partners is activated, you can configure here which customer groups are eligible for the application.
If no customer groups are selected here, all customer groups remain eligible and there are no restrictions.
Automatically accept applications from new affiliate partners
When this option is enabled, affiliates are automatically activated for the affiliate program. Normally, applications must be approved by shop administrators - this step is omitted with this option.
Enable affiliate links
This configuration allows tracking via affiliate links to be enabled or disabled. Alternatively, tracking is also possible via promotion codes, for example.
URL parameters for affiliate links
This is where you define the basic structure of affiliate links. By default, affiliate links look like this:
https://demo.shop?affiliateCode=SAMPLECODE
Domain of the online shop: demo.shop
(Unique) URL parameter: affiliateCode
Personal affiliate code: SAMPLECODE
The entry made in the configuration text field determines the part marked in blue (URL parameter) of an affiliate link. This has no effect on the functionality of the extension, but serves the purpose of individualization. By default, the value affiliateCode is always valid even if the URL parameter is adjusted. Note, however, that links with an individual URL parameter will expire if a new URL parameter name is set: Only the affiliateCode parameter always remains valid regardless of the configuration value set here.
Days to wait until credit withdrawal
This setting allows you to define the number of days after which an affiliate can have a provision/commission paid out. This is helpful if you want to prevent provisions from being paid out for cancelled orders. In general, transactions are only then cashable if the number of days set here has elapsed and if the affiliate transaction status is Completed. To find out how to activate synchronizations and thus automatic cancellations and the release of provisions based on the order status go to "Synchronization".
Allow payout requests from affiliates
Affiliates can only request payouts themselves if this option is enabled. A payout request is also only possible if the minimum payout amount described below has been exceeded and if no other payout requests from the affiliate are currently pending.
Minimum amount an affiliate must reach for own money payouts
You can define the minimum credit balance an affiliate must reach in order to request a payout in their personal affiliate area. Shop administrators can make a payout to the affiliate at any time, regardless of the value specified here, by creating a transaction.
Consider discounts in the provision calculation
With this setting, discounts from promotional offers can be automatically taken into account when calculating provisions. The affiliate receives a correspondingly lower provision if a promotion code has been used.
We recommend testing this setting with test orders to ensure it works as desired before putting it into production, as discount calculation is a complex process.
Create affiliate transactions only when affiliate is active
When this option is enabled, the system checks whether an affiliate is active when an order is completed. When this option is enabled, commissions are only created if an affiliate is active. This is useful if there are affiliates in your online store that have been deactivated and for which tracking should no longer be available.
Consider parent products in affiliate product groups
If a main product (i.e., a parent item) has been stored in an affiliate product group, all variants of the product are automatically included in the commission calculation when this setting is activated, unless otherwise specified.
Show affiliate links on product pages
When this setting is activated, all affiliates will see their personal affiliate links on product detail pages - here they can copy and share the link directly. Logically, however, an affiliate link will only be displayed if the product is commissionable.
Only the first affiliate order of a customer should be provisioned
If this option is active, only the first order placed by a customer who was referred by an affiliate will result in a commission. Any further orders placed by a customer who was referred by an affiliate will not be tracked in favor of the affiliate.
Calculate provisions on the basis of net prices
With this configuration, provisions can optionally be calculated based on net values instead of gross product prices. The calculation is then based on net values, excluding taxes.
Show order numbers for the affiliate
When this configuration is deactivated, order numbers are made unrecognizable to the affiliate. Normally, for example, they would see a reference to the respective order number of a provision in the transaction list.
Allow affiliates to buy with the own affiliate code
If this option is enabled, an affiliate will receive a provision even if they place an order themselves using their own affiliate code. This setting is disabled by default.
Separator for the export files
While a comma is used as the default separator for CSV export files, you can enter a custom separator here (e.g., a semicolon), which will then be used in all CSV exports.
Extended master data for affiliates
Additional data can be entered for affiliates. This data can be maintained in the administration area or by the affiliate themselves. The data includes:
