# Rabattaktion anlegen

Wenn zu jedem Geburtstag automatisch auch ein Gutscheincode versendet werden soll, muss dies in der [Konfiguration der Erweiterung](/plugin-documentation/apps/e-mail-gutschein-zum-geburtstag/konfiguration.md) aktiviert und zusätzlich eine Rabattaktion angelegt werden.

Dazu kann im Administrationsbereich von Shopware 6 einfach unter **Marketing > Rabatte & Aktionen** ein neuer Rabatt angelegt werden:

Wichtig ist dabei, dass die Rabattaktion aktiv ist, einen gültigen Zeitraum hat und der Aktionscodetyp "Individuelle Aktionscodes" ist: Die Codes werden dann automatisch nach dem in der Konfiguration eingestellten [Muster ](/plugin-documentation/apps/e-mail-gutschein-zum-geburtstag/konfiguration.md#eigenes-gutscheincode-muster)erstellt.

Außerdem müssen in den Bedingungen die korrekten Verkaufskanäle ausgewählt werden.

Die Rabattaktion können Sie nun in der Konfiguration der Erweiterung einfach unter "Rabattaktion für die Geburtstagsgutscheine" auswählen.

Wenn die zugeordnete Rabattaktion nicht einlösbar ist, da die Aktion beispielsweise nicht *aktiv* ist, so wird aus Sicherheitsgründen keine E-Mail versendet, sofern die Gutscheincodes in der Konfiguration aktiviert wurden.
